He has pioneered key roles in demand generation & field marketing at companies such as Foundry Networks, Opsware, HP, Cloudera, AsterData, and Actian.

Most recently, Mahesh served as a partner in the Market Development team at leading Silicon Valley VC firm – Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), where he advised/coached several early to late stage entrepreneurs on Go-to-Market effectiveness, including best practices in demand generation and pipeline acceleration for customer acquisition; lead/opportunity qualification and development; “contact to contract” lifecycle; and strategies for maximizing Lifetime Customer Value.
